In a regular wash cycle it will last about 1-3 washes. For best results we recommended reapplying the solution after every wash.
The less a protected surface is washed, the more the longevity of the formula will be extended.
For at home use: garden style pump (use a fine mist)
For professionals: airless sprayer system, or HVLP gun
Ensure surface is clean. Shake vigorously for 1 minute. Prior to use, test in a hidden area. Using a garden style pump sprayer, airless sprayer system, or HVLP gun, spray roughly 9-12” away from the fabric. Use appropriate eye & face protection. Follow the chart below for detailed settings for each form of application. Spray evenly & thoroughly, do not oversaturate. To avoid patchiness, overlap spray approximately 4-8” with each pass. Remove any excess by blotting with a clean paper towel. Air dry at room temperature for 30-60 minutes. Reapply & air dry at room temperature for 24-48 hours. For best results, reapply every 4-6 months.
One gallon of ProofPlus™ Professional Home Fabric Protector can cover approximately 384 ft².*
*Coverage is approximate & can vary depending on fabric surface.
For best performance, we recommend reapplying ProofPlus™ Professional Home Fabric Protector every 4-6 months.
